Works begin on CCTV security network

Archerfield Airport Corporation (AAC) has begun installing 3.5kms of fibre optic cabling at the airport as the first stage of a major security upgrade program.

The cables will be used for a closed circuit television system and the control of heavy duty electronic gates, scheduled to be installed next month. Installation of new 1.8m high security perimeter fencing will also start in June.
