AAC donates land for Barton St to ease congestion on Granard Rd

Archerfield Airport Corporation (AAC) has welcomed Brisbane City Council’s announcement that it is about to start work on the extension of Balham Road at Archerfield.

“It is some time since the AAC agreed, with Commonwealth cooperation, to grant airport land for community purposes, so we are pleased to see this has come to fruition,” the Corporation’s Managing Director, Gavin Bird, said today. “We believe the initiative will help regenerate the most important transport node in Queensland.”
