Media Release - Airport Improvement Works Underway

Construction works will be underway at Archerfield Airport this month to improve drainage at the northwest end of the airport and provide landscaping along Boundary Road.

The works are the first phase of Archerfield Airport Corporation’s long-term plans to rejuvenate an under-utilised part of the airport. Under the current and previous Airport Master Plans, the area is earmarked for future aviation and non-aviation development on General Industry-zoned land.
