Media Release - Archerfield Airport to Stage Emergency Exercise

Archerfield Airport will join with State emergency personnel this month to stage a ‘real time’ field exercise to test the airport’s emergency procedures.

The major exercise will be held at the airport on the morning of Wednesday 27 November, and will simulate an aircraft accident. Queensland Police, Fire and Rescue and Ambulance officers will participate together with Archerfield Airport Corporation (AAC) staff and other agencies. Media are invited to cover the exercise and/or be involved.
