Media Release - Emergency Exercise Followup

Emergency response procedures and inter-agency communication were tested at Archerfield Airport this week with a major ‘real time’ field exercise.

The exercise involved Airport, Queensland Police, Fire and Rescue, and Ambulance personnel, and was conducted in accordance with the Airport Emergency Plan. A debriefing session followed the exercise to identify operational issues that could be improved in the event of a genuine plane crash.
