includes the use of equipment such as cranes, cherry pickers, helicopters, low-loaders and any other craft as well as events such as stunts, road closures, constructions, pyrotechnics and other special effects. Please include crew numbers, vehicle numbers and types.

SECTION 4 – CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL.

This acknowledgment signifies a formal request to undertake a filming or photography activity. As the person requesting this permit, I hereby certify that: (please tick in the left-hand column).

I have the permission and shall bring personnel and equipment onto the Property (under escort) and remove the same after completion of all work.

I have permission to conduct the filming for the Licence Period. In the event that filming is not completed within this Period, I shall apply for an extension of the Licence Period.

I agree to indemnify and hold Archerfield Airport Corporation (AAC) harmless against:

  • (a) any liability to or claim by a third party (including our Associates); and
  • (b) all costs (including reasonable fees payable to consultants and lawyers), fines, penalties, loss and damage suffered or incurred by AAC,

Arising out of or in connection with any wilful or negligent act or omission, or breach of the Filming Licence by us or any of our Associates. However, this indemnity will be reduced to the extent that an act or omission of AAC (or AAC’s agents or contractors) contributed to the liability, costs, fines, penalties, loss or damage.I have consulted with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the controls to manage the risks are adequate.

I shall ensure the safety conditions as per the Policy will be adhered to.

I have received and understand AAC Safety Induction.

I shall ensure the environmental factors as per the Policy are considered and comply with any environmental legislative requirements.

I have read and understood AAC’s Commercial Filming and Photography Policy, agree to abide by all of the said conditions, will ensure that all crew/personnel/actors/subcontractors are made aware of the relevant conditions and requirements and will ensure that they are strictly adhered to.

On behalf of the production company specified in this application, this information is to the best of my knowledge accurate and correct and we will abide by any conditions provided with this approval, if given. I further confirm that I have read, understood and accepted the Conditions of Approval. I also agree, on behalf of the production company specified in this application, that I will pay any and all fees associated with this application and approval, if given.

Public Liability Insurance

  • Certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance showing at least $20 million, confirming that the policy does not exclude airside or on‐airport activities; confirming that AAC is named as an Additional Insured indemnifying AAC for all claims for personal injury and damage to property arising out of this Filming Activity; the policy includes a Cross Liability or similar clause.
  • Certificate of Currency for all key subcontractors engaged in the Filming Activity (for example electricians, crane operators, erectors, etc.).

Filming/Photography Schedule (include bump in and out time and crew numbers) (if applicable).

Risk Assessment or Risk Management Plan (if applicable).

Site layout plan (as per the Policy).

Traffic management plan and car parking management plan (if applicable).

Safety and security management.

Copies of relevant approvals from the authorities and consent from tenant or owner of building as required.

Relevant application forms including crane height, airside access escorts, etc.

SECTION 5 – AAC AUTHORISATION.

AAC SPECIAL CONDITIONS.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

AAC will make every reasonable attempt to inform the Producer of any airport activities that may conflict with filming or endanger the film crew.

AAC agrees to notify the Producer in writing within 14 days of completion of use, any damages claimed to arise from the Producer’s use of the Property and to allow the Producer and its representatives to access the Property (where appropriate) to rectify any such damage.

AAC hereby expressly disclaims any right or interest in the Production including copyright therein and acknowledges that the Producer has the unfettered right (without payment of further fees) to exhibit and license in all media throughout the world all or any part of those scenes of the Production photographed or recorded at the Airport.

As the AAC authorised person, I certify that:
I have received all the required documentation.(Required)
I have conducted a positive height assessment of any crane, elevated work platform or associated equipment (if applicable).(Required)
The Producer has received AAC Safety Induction (as applicable).(Required)
The Producer has read and acknowledged the Commercial Filming and Photography Policy.(Required)
Permission is granted to the Producer to use the agreed Location for the purpose of photographing and recording scenes for the Production, in consideration of the Commercial Filming Fee payment by the Producer to AAC.(Required)
